Financial Strategy & Business Consultant
thehappycorp is seeking a part-time financial strategy consultant.
This is a leadership role within our organization. You will work directly with the principles of the company to analyze financial statements, develop revenue models, analyze internal systems and plans for the future.
You are a recent MBA grad who scored at the top of your class, but who has been confronted by boring options since your graduation. You have a creative mind when it comes to business and an understanding of the media and publishing industries and their financial models. You know what a blog is, and how to monetize it. You know how online retail sales work, and how to keep costs low and profits high.
You are a ninja with Excel and can design financial models in your sleep. You live to write a polished business plan, stand in a board room at a table of hungry and demanding venture capitalists, and present a well thought out reason they should open their wallets to you.
Past experience working in the Media & Advertising industry before your MBA is preferred. This job will be fast paced and challenging. It will be roller coaster ride and an adventure that will be more fun than any job you've had before.
You will work as the company budget master and all around financial go to person and strategist. The officers of the company will rely on you heavily to give them qualified information about the financial picture of the firm so they can make sound strategic decisions. The candidate should have the following characteristics:

+Complex knowledge of financial processes and tools for small business.
You will have the following responsibilities:
+Responsible for establishing effective collections system
+Working with outsource accounting and tax firms to prepare and process company taxes.
+Forecasting with a heavy focus on Budgeting.
+Experience with Tax Settlements.
+Helping out with the Audit Preparation.
+Month-end Reporting.
+Liaising with the outsourced Payroll organizations.
