Legal Eagle
thehappycorp is seeking a part-time legal eagle to guide us down the path of lawfulness.
Are you a sucker for reruns of L.A. Law and Ally McBeal? Are your favorite movies "My Cousin Vinny", and "From the Hip"? Did you watch "Changing Lanes" and actually believe in the sentimental crap that Ben Affleck was shoveling? If so, then we want you.
thehappycorp global is seeking a young, inspired lawyer who is excited about the possibility of helping us grow and protecting our company and clients with their legal expertise.
This is a role for someone who graduated law school near the top of their class and has passed the bar, but does not see themselves fitting into the traditional law firm route. Perhaps you are working at a firm but desperately desire an outlet for your skills that allows you to think creatively and interact with fun, interesting, and creative people.
You should have a black belt in contracts and a solid grasp of the worlds of new media, licensing, and intellectual property. You should be excited about entering new legal territory with us and learning a lot. Most of all you must be excited about thehappycorp and our mission of doing good.
We will pay you an hourly wage for your time, but we need you to accept an hourly wage that allows us to grow as a young company with the knowledge that the future holds big, big things. You will have to be excited about taking the occasional phone call for advice without billing us into submission. Media & Advertising industry experience would be outstanding.
The job will be fast paced and challenging and provide many extra perks. We are definitely open to candidates who have other positions with time to commit to this on the site. We can promise fun, and interesting people. Come along for the ride.
